The Upright Open MRI scanner is located at Vancouver General Hospital, in the Leon Judah Blackmore Pavilion off 12th Ave.

On the map shown below, the blue pinpoint is where the Upright Open MRI scanner is located.

Look for the bright green signage at the start of the MRI hallway. The Upright Open MRI Shared Research Platform is located at the end of this hallway.

Upright Open MRI

Shared Research Platforms are facilities funded jointly by the Office of the VP, Research and Innovation and Faculties and departments for the purpose of offering specialized research services to UBC and external research communities.
